This track was written shortly after attending Warped Tour '09. As it states in the first verse, 90% of bands and their fans ruined the show with their shitty "culture". What happened to the good old days? When you couldn't decide which stage to watch because No Use was on at the same time as Lagwagon? And Glassjaw, Homegrown, and The Starting Line shared the same stage? When you got to wake up to The Ataris and Millencolin? WTF. Now it's 3OH!3, There For Tomorrow, and The Ready Set. And then when you get home you think it's going to get better. But no, it's not. You can't even go to a Thursday show without sitting through shitty bands like Bring The Horizon.. More like Bring me a fucking machete so I can slice my ears off so I don't have to hear this shit anymore. And all the stupid ignorant kids wearing 19 different neon colors at once and saying "sketch" in every sentence like it's going out of style, all in a South Park goth kid accent, thinking they're better than everyone else... Goddammit. Screw fucking hipsters.
lyrics
screw fucking hipsters
what fucking posers
can you believe it?
they ruined warped '09
not fucking new wave
or new romantic
and their hairstyles suck
and if we like it, they hate it
i think that's the most retarded thing I've ever heard
and if we covet cool fashion
force them into rediculous outfits
let's run them over in our earth destroyers
there's hipster shit on the radio
hipster shit on the radio
so turn it off
screw fucking scene bands
what fucking losers
pop-culture terrorists?
or fucking clowns with downsyndrome?
why am i wasting
my precious breath when i don't give a fuck?
and if we like it, they hate it
i think that's the most retarded thing I've ever heard
and if you all get cancer or burned alive
I'll be sleeping great tonight
knowing I won't ever have to see another doucher for the rest of my life
there's hipster shit on the radio
hipster shit on the radio
so turn it off
There's assholes on my television
everybody ready your sledgehammers
let's crush some caphode skulls
there's scene kids in my neighborhood
scene kids in my neighborhood
Let's round 'em all up
(they'll never learn, no never)
another one's infected everywhere I turn
how much you wanna bet we get away with murder?
just believe we can pull it off
we can
it's fucking brainless
who fucking taught them how to dress
whoever said that every color goes on everything at once?
and just what's "cool"?
'cause we don't live by your rules
and my brain can only take this so long
fucking posioning my mind
i wanna scratch out my fucking eyes
